Dr. Gretel Perez Lopez is originally from Cuba and grew up in a large family of dentists, including her mother, a respected Prosthodontist who inspired her early passion for dentistry. In 2008, she graduated from dental school at the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences and earned recognition for outstanding academic performance, including advanced training in Prosthodontics.
She spent four years in Venezuela with the Cuban Medical Mission, providing care for patients facing significant financial and access barriers. Dr. Perez Lopez came to the United States in 2015 and continued her education at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, graduating with honors and receiving the American Prosthodontics Society Award in May 2020.
She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. Dr. Perez Lopez is passionate about every aspect of dentistry and is known for her attention to detail, reliability, and collaborative spirit. She is committed to continuing education so she can consistently deliver high quality, up to date treatments.
When Dr. Perez Lopez is not at the office, she enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her family. She also loves dancing, reading, and hosting family and friends.
