The Professional Side

Dr. Daniel Marquez was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. Without having any dental professional in his family, he pursued dentistry with passion and determination. He graduated from Havana Dental School in 2012 and was awarded a Fellowship an Mastership by the Oral Surgery and Pharmacology Department for outstanding performance.

After moving to the United States in 2015, he was accepted at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2020. Dr. Marquez is passionate about dentistry, with a strong focus on Oral Surgery. Since graduation, he has completed more than 300 hours of continuing education in implant dentistry.

He holds an active Fellowship degree from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).

The Personal Side

In his spare time, Dr. Marquez likes to travel, cook new recipes, work out, and spend time with his family.

Why I chose the dental field

There were only two doctors in my hometown. My elementary school took students to shadow Dr. Martinez, and that experience changed my perspective. It showed me how small things matter in every part of life. Teeth matter.

Hobbies and interests

Grill baby grill. I work out too when my little boss lets me do it.

Something people do not know about me

I do windsurfing.

Favorite food

Cuban food, especially oxtail.
